Pretty sure Ripper was the perfect role for Sterling Hayden; atonement of sorts for his HUAC appearance. Kubrick made a good pick.

“I didn’t make a yummy sound, I just asked you what it is.”
TV Pics: Marty Feldman, a good oldman.

Father’s Day 2009: Nothing of interest comes to mind, so TV Pics it is: Thom Yorke, the agony and the ecstasy of being Radiohead. I’m sorry to report that in this shot, he looks unfortunately a little like - alright, a LOT like - Clay Aiken. Will that enhance or diminish his street cred with teenyboppers (who, in the case of Mr. Aiken, are most likely pushing 60)? Time will tell, Thom, time will tell.

Never let it be said that Gyorgi Ligeti is not a composer of substance and terror.
TV pics: Dave in in the stargate.

In honor of the release of yet another Dolls record: TV Pics, Arthur “Killer” Kane, in his pre-Mormon heyday. Killer sadly dropped dead of leukemia 22 days after the Dolls London reunion show in 2004 - 2 hours after being diagnosed. I haven’t listened to “‘Cause I Sez So” yet, and in fact I may never - always liked the Dolls more in principal than in practice - but I loved New York Doll, the film about Killer’s post-Doll life, leading up to and including the reunion.
Arthur “Killer” Kane: killer bass, better cheekbones.
